On Monday, November 5th we opened the exhibition "Sea Change: Celebrating 50 Years of the Sanibel Plan," with a documentary screening, a talk given by Anne Whiston Spirn, the plan's principal landscape architect, and a reception. Today Spirn is Cecil and Ida Green Distinguished Professor of Landscape Architecture and Planning at MIT, and her talk was nothing short of an extraordinary testament to the significance of landscape conservation, but also to living a conscious human life on the planet. Please view our recording, and if you are short on time, start around the 50-minute mark to hear Spirn's insightful responses during the question segment. Enjoy!
